I bought the new edition of this textbook which isn’t on goodreads published in for my course and degreeand I don’t regret it at all. The book is dull, but partly by design. He was for some time general editor of Palgrave Macmillan’s Studies in Diplomacy and International Relations series, and an associate editor of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
