He currently defines his job as professional helper. Books like this make you feel like you were sleeping, and suddenly woke up to something you already knew but didn’t know how to approach. Does anyone know how good the german translation is compared to the original text?

I never really connected with him, neither did I find him interesting. This book is a crownjewel with a lot of information hidden between the lines even without the stories. And, of course, is no substitute for therapy. There are a lot of great stories inside, there are some mediocre ones, but all things considered, a great book that’s easy to read. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. I found this book almost therapeutic.

Composed of short description of personal details of imaginary patient followed by a short story told by a psychotherapist that is ought to help client find an answer.

He started working at the age of thirteen. Jorge and the stories on the other hand were very lovely and touching, many of the topics had me thinking for days even after finishing the book and I hope that I’m able to remember them just as well as Jorge did.

Jorge Bucay, ingeniously, uses his characters, Damien and himself as conduits for this. Not the best Bucay book, but I liked it. Like a self help book written for middle schoolers, and badly written at that. Tales Along the Road to Happiness origina Jorge Bucay is an Argentinian gestalt psychotherapist, psychodramatist, and writer.


Both the individual stories and the book as a whole are inspiring and full of wisdom and take pogtero messages worth reflecting on. This is a great book. More just a nice evening read to keep you company and comfort you after a long day. Sep 16, dVicko prostinulo it it was amazing. Dieses Buch hat mich in gewisser Weise auch therapiert. No puedo decir que sea el mejor libro que he leido, pero es inevitable reflexionar con ciertas cosas y pienso que eso es bueno, por tanto cualquier libro que te haga pensar debo recomendarlo y este lo hago moderadamente.
